This revolutionary, ultra-compact 12.1 Megapixel camera features the Micro Four Thirds interchangeable lens system, a new standard that renders the traditional internal mirror system obsolete – radically reducing overall camera size while offering you a wide selection of quality interchangeable lenses.

Whether you’re an enthusiast with an eye for the perfect shot, or a semi-professional user looking for a compact interchangeable lens system, the G1 allows anyone to take excellent images. Such spectacular image quality is possible thanks in part to Panasonic’s amazing “iA” (Intelligent Auto) fully automatic program mode, in which the camera automatically optimises any setting according to the situation. Advance Auto Focus (AF) makes for quick, easy and precise focusing, while the lens-integrated MEGA Optical Image Stabilizer automatically compensates for every shake or bump.

You can now set up the perfect shot every time through the large, high resolution electronic viewfinder and the 3-inch multi-angle LCD monitor providing permanent Live View. And because any dust that may have entered the camera during lens change is removed by the built-in Dust Reduction System, your newly-captured images will be spotless.

The G1’s compact size may make it look simple – but even though it is designed to capture stunning photos with all the ease of a compact digital camera, it acts and performs on par with most comparable D-SLR’s. In fact, the G1 challenges today’s most compact digital SLR cameras in terms of size and weight, outstanding image quality, smart design and innovative possibilities.
