In hammer mode, an air coupling hammer mechanism delivers quick hole drilling even in hard concrete.  Power is effectively output by using compressed air to power the piston.

Due to improvements in motor performance efficiency, it is difficult for the temperature of the main unit to increase even during heavy construction work.  Long periods of continuous work can be handled comfortably.
