Depth Enhancer Enjoy sharp images with incredible depth with this advanced noise-reduction system.  Conventional systems process the entire image, including parts that are already fine.  This can actually degrade the quality of those parts.  Panasonic depth enhancer technology processes only the background, where noise is often a problem, and doesn't touch the skin tones or delicate details of your main subjects.  You get images with startling depth and true-to-life skin tones, as well as a soft, movie background focus.

Detachable Front Panel You can remove the front panel and put it in your pocket or bag when you leave your car.  Only a flashing warning light remains visible on the unit to indicate the front panel has been removed.

Dialogue Enhancer Boosts the volume of the centre channel, from which most of the principal dialogue emanates, when playing a movie featuring Dolby Digital 5.1 sound.

Digital A digital communication system is one where the signal is encoded into a digital bit stream.

Digital Cinema Reality Movie film consists of a series of still images viewed at 24-frames-per-second.  NTSC video sources convert these signals to 60-frames-per-second.  Panasonic's plasma displays detect this and use still-image processing for each individual image to achieve clear, smooth-flowing images with a level of detail that closely approaches that of the original film.

Digital Comb Filter This circuitry accurately separates the colour information from the black-and-white information and removes dot crawl and hanging dots, both horizontally & vertically.

Digital Duplex Speakerphone This feature gives you the convenience of fielding your phonecalls hands free.  This is convenient for conference calls when others in the room can easily join the conversation.

Digital Effects Let you add a variety of digital effects to your videos during recording and/or playback.

Digital Electronic Image Stabilisation (D-EIS) Digital EIS is a unique idea that helps compensate for unintentional hand and/or camcorder movement. It even reduces unwanted jitter from recordings made in a car, or while walking. And with Digital EIS, you can use this feature during playback to help reduce movement in previously recorded videos.

Digital Gamma Correction Projector technology developed for used in Commercial Cinema and Broadcasting applications can also be found in Panasonic's Business Projectors.  The use of advanced 10-bit gamma correction circuitry with the latest algorithm gives naturally vivid, uniform colours and smooth image gradation.
