Economy Mode This mode saves battery power by turning off the LCD after a certain amount of idle time. There are two economy levels to choose from:
Level 1: LCD turns off when the camera has been idle for 15 seconds
Level 2: Same as level 1, plus the LCD turns off when the camera has been idle for 5 seconds after you've taken a shot.
Energy Saving: Designed for Low Energy Consumption In line with Panasonic's policy of environment-friendly, energy-saving designs, all Mini/Micro Systems boast low stand-by power consumption, cutting power consumption from the usual approx 10 W to approx 0.9 W or lower.

Fast Random Access The optical pickup can access instantly to the desired sector. Even if the data is not recorded sequentially, quick retrieval is possible.

Fine Pitch CRT The Fine Pitch CRT Tube is new exciting technology developed by Panasonic. It delivers better resolution, contrast and sharpness through the advancement in electron gun/mask technology. The DQ-DAF gun delivers new fine beams, allowing finer pitch (or holes) in the SST (Super Slot Tension) mask. This in turn delivers more phosphors (approx 1080) per scanning line. The end result is superior overall picture quality.

Fireworks Mode Slows the shutter speed to capture fireworks with vivid beauty.

Flash Light Adjustment/Bounce Lighting Flash intensity can be adjusted +2 EV in 1/3 EV steps. You can use the "bounce" lighting technique to soften shadows or lighten skin tones.
Flicker-free Picture Panasonic plasma display is able to display all input video signals in progressive format. The result is flicker-free pictures that are easy on the eyes.
Flip Animation Produce animated images (QuickTime Files) from up to 100 still images. Select playback from 10fps to 5 fps.
Free Style Remote Controller This remote controller lets you shoot from almost any position, making it super-easy to take low-angle shots, high-angle shots and fixed-position shots using a tripod. Freestyle remote controllers with built in microphones are available on selected models.
