Screen Savers Select from a total of three screen savers to minimise the risk of uneven phosphor aging. The white bar scroll is designed for ordinary still image displays, screen reversal is for text-screen displays and slide panel adjustment is for 4:3 mode images. All three can be started up in manual mode, or they can be set to automatically start/stop at present times on timer mode, or for preset periods on interval mode.
SDBB (Super Dynamic Bass Boost) You can choose from four different kinds of bass boost, depending on your taste and music. Variable boost (low or high) enhances the bass signal along with your volume setting - just the thing if you really like precisely controlled bass. When shooting directly into a light source, press the cursor button. This will turn on the backlighting compensation mode so the subject doesn't appear too dark.
Simultaneous Record & Play While you're recording this week's episode of your favourite show, you may want to watch last week's episode. The simultaneous Record & Play function makes it possible. It lets you record one program while you watch another one that has already been recorded onto the same disc.

SQ7 (7-Band Sound Quality) You can adjust the level in each of the seven frequency bands.
SQ9 (9-Band Sound Quality) Centre frequency and level are adjustable in each of the nine bands. This lets you fine tune sound quality for each genre to suit your personal preferences and the acoustics of the car's interior.
