Kid Witness News – the news makers of tomorrow21st September 2010     By: Panasonic Media

Kids Witness News (KWN) is a hands-on film education programme created to encourage students from years 5 to 13 to develop their cognitive, communication and organizational skills through developing a short documentary film using the latest Panasonic HD Video and DVD technology.

Students are invited to create and develop an idea for a short documentary film based on one of two themes "The Environment" or "Communication". Regional winners are given the opportunity to compete in the Global competition, going up against entries from all over the world. More details are available here

In 2009, the finalists were Waihi Central School, Ngatea Primary School and Te Kauwhata College which you can view below.
