Panasonic is continuously developing our battery technology to
offer greater convenience and value, a higher level of performance
and improved environmental sustainability.
Ten years ago, an idea was developed that batteries could be
reused over and over again. This "looping energy" concept became
eneloop, now recognised worldwide by millions of consumers as the
premier rechargeable battery brand.
Developing technologies that make our batteries last longer is
essential to Panasonic's environmental sustainability goals and as
a result eneloop batteries can be recharged up to 2,100 times. Each
year 15 billion disposable batteries end up in landfills worldwide,
using eneloop rechargeable can help stop a large number of
batteries from ending up in landfills. eneloop batteries are also
pre-charged at the factory using solar power, and are ready to be
used immediately from the packet.
