Panasonic introduces ultimate high-performance camera for those ‘on the go’3rd August 2015     By: Panasonic Media

Panasonic has responded to photography fans looking for the ultimate 'on the go' camera with the launch of the high performance Lumix DMC-G7.

A digital single lens mirrorless (DSLM) camera, the Lumix DMC-G7 brings ground-breaking technology to the New Zealand market. A smart, user-friendly camera, it takes photos and videos in 4K resolution and has numerous features including the ability to turn an image from a video into a photo using the 4K video mode.

The camera has been designed with those looking to capture everyday moments in mind as the innovative 4K burst function allows the photographer to capture fleeting photo opportunities. This functionality makes the camera the perfect choice for families capturing entertaining moments with the children, sports enthusiasts recording their team's latest success or amateur photographers bringing everyday moments to life.

In addition, intelligent features include a large, ergonomically-designed grip so the camera offers a stable hold even in one hand, and Wi-Fi® connectivity means that users can connect the camera to their smartphone or tablet to expand the flexibility in shooting, storing and sharing images.

Andrew Reid, LUMIX Product Manager commented, "We created the Lumix DMC-G7 in response to consumer demand for a compact, high performance camera that integrated cutting-edge digital technology.

"Through a range of innovations this camera allows not only professionals but also amateur photographers to capture spur-of-the-moment photos. Highly versatile and compact, the Lumix DMC-G7 camera provides users with an enhanced photographic experience."
