VIERA Image Viewer™
Watch and show your photos and motion images right after you take them. Simply insert an SD Card into the SD slot on your TH-P42X30Z to display photos and HD videos on the large screen. An easy-to-see, easy-to-use thumbnail display has also been added. Special new slideshow frames and an increased number of display effects are also included. Plus, Reversal Film Effect mode makes photo colours so rich and vibrant, even a professional photographer will appreciate them. Messages and memos can be added to photos from a PC to create detailed travelogues and original slideshows with messages for people special to you. This further expands the possibilities for Viera enjoyment.

Your Panasonic TH-P42X30Z includes a convenient PC Input to easily connect a personal computer and take advantage of the large screen offered with Viera TVs. This makes it perfect for using your Viera TV for presentations and other applications.

DLNA / WiFi Ready
Make your home even more comfortable by linking your digital home appliances with DLNA. This new system lets you share images, videos and other content through DLNA-compatible TVs and computers, connected to a router over a LAN network. You can also enjoy this content in different rooms. For example, you can watch still and motion images that are saved onto your PC on a large-screen TV. Using a Wi-Fi connection lets you connect devices anywhere in the house over a wireless network for the most flexible installation ever.

V-Audio Surround delivers sounds that perfectly match the TH-P42X30Z’s dynamic, high-definition images, by producing a depth-sound-image effect by early-reflection data based on actual room measurement, generated from the digital signal processor.

Mercury and Lead Free Plasma Display Panel
Panasonic is committed to making our products more environmentally friendly. In line with this commitment, all VIERA plasma display panels are free of both lead and mercury. This reduces impact on the environment years down the road when the TV is recycled or retired from use.

Long Panel Life - Up to 100,000 Hours of Beautiful Images
One important way consumers can protect the environment is by choosing high-quality products and taking care of them so they last for a long time. A Viera TV can help. Thanks to a newly designed phosphor process and rear panel process, our plasma panels last for up to 100,000 hours before the brightness decreases by half. That's more than 30 years of viewing 8 hours a day.
*This measurement is based on the time taken for the brightness of the panel to reduce to half of its maximum level. The time taken to reach this level may vary depending on the image content and the environment where the TV is used. Image retention and malfunctions are not taken into account.
